Happy May Day! πΈ
It’s also Monday and we’re supposed to be ready to rock another week of work, right?! Well, I’m not quite there yet! Now, give me Tuesday and we’ll start talking π
We had a low key weekend which was great (as usual!) mixed with a little bit of fun! So let’s get to it…
Friday, I headed to the movies to see Boss Baby with this one below π Yes, you read that right.. the cartoon! I’m a sucker for a kid movie with popcorn! #ineedchildren
After the movies, I hit up Nordstrom Rack and seriously…. swiped two pairs of boots for less than $19! I didn’t snap a picture because I figured, who cared BUT I got a cute pair of Steve Madden booties for $10 and a pair of MIA over-the-knee boots for $8.90… They were offering 50% off all boots! I could have totally grabbed so many more but #selfcontrol
After those great deals, I knew I could use a glass of wine (and the Mr a beer) so I met Gayle and the Mr at the curling club to watch our friend, Jason curl and enjoy a cocktail!
Saturday was so relaxing! After getting up at 6:40 (seriously, how can I not sleep in on weekends?!) I relaxed while the hubs headed to a golf lesson.
I went to a few green houses in the area that were having their “Spring Opening” to see if I could catch any good deals.
I was a little obsessed with these geraniums.. their color was “hot pink”. Totally what I need, right?! And I just loved the lighter pink with the dark!
I ended up with nothing, mainly because it was like 46 degrees out and cold so I had no inhibition to start planting yet. But also… the check out lines!! They were insane!
Logan golfed the afternoon away and I headed home to get ready for a fun bachelorette night out!
I have to say.. I was a little nervous! I didn’t know a single gal (there were 19 of us!) and I knew everyone else knew each other so it was a little intimidating. As much of an extrovert as I seem (I’m always told that!), I’m definitely not always feeling that on the inside!
We started the night with a drink at the Airbnb house before heading to dinner.
We went to Cov Wayzata and it was phenomenal! With the decor and view of the water, I almost felt like I was in Nantucket π
I had the Calamari (so good!) and the Coppinio and I’d definitely recommend both if you love seafood!
Those girls I was so anxious about meeting? They were all so sweet!! And it turns out, it’s a small world when these two girls went to UWEC and graduated the same time as me π
I can’t wait to see everyone again at the wedding! Although, I do think I’ll be keeping in touch with at least a few girls π

Love this beautiful bride to be!
I met Katie, so many years ago, when she moved from Idaho through a friend and I am so so thankful we’ve remained friends ever since! She’s such a sweet girl and I’m so glad that I was able to join the festivities!
After dinner, we headed back to the house to do a little gift opening!
I headed home shortly after but it was so much fun to meet all those sweet girls! See you in a few weeks, if you’re reading π
Sunday, we just chilled out finally and did some meal planning! I totally admitted to my husband yesterday that I HATE meal planning.. it just gives me anxiety because I’m so picky and a terrible cook! Alas, we’ll keep working on those π (could I stop with the smiley faces yet?!?!?!).
Now for the part y’all actually opened this post for… the giveaway!

I met one of my best friends at a bachelorette party where I only knew the bride! It’s amazing how anxious we can get for no reason, because it turns out for the best! Happy Monday!

It’s hard going into something knowing nobody or just one person- glad you put yourself out there and had a good time! Feel free to take my kids to the movies- we wait for a lot to come out on Redbox or Netflix because this mom doesn’t want to spend $30+ for the movie! Have a great Monday!

Isn’t it crazy how expensive movies are?!?! I totally agree! It ends up being $30 just to get into the movie, not even counting the popcorn and such! I love redbox and Netflix movie nights π

I love kid’s movies too! I miss popcorn…like really bad. =/ The struggle is real. I totally get how overwhelming it can be to not know anyone in such a large group of girls. The good thing that we tend to forget is that they likely felt that way too! It sounds like a lovely and fun weekend all around. And yeesss to those pink geraniums! XO
