It’s already Monday, y’all!
But thankfully, I have a short work week this week since we have the State Fair on Friday with my in-laws for our annual tradition!
My weekend recap starts back on Thursday! I had originally asked off work for a trip with Logan’s family that didn’t end up working out; but I kept it off anyway because it’s basically the last week of summer and I only have so many with Magnolia Kate!
We started our weekend off with our first trip to the zoo…

She thought the orangutan was just so silly!Â
Magnolia LOVED seeing the llama and pony at the winery last month (you’ll see that recap Wednesday!) so I thought she’d be ALLLL about the animals at the zoo!

Trying one of Mama’s favorite snacks – a giant pretzel! I’m a sucker for any concession areas! 🙂
Mom fail because it was SO busy with “kid groups” (it’s the end of summer so I’m sure?!) so it was hard to get Magnolia close enough to see the animals!
But she sure was excited about seeing all the kids 🙂 Ha! Ever since daycare, she LOVES seeing kids!! She lets out squeals and giggles with kicks when she sees any!

Lots of selfies today since Daddy had to work!
We ended the night with Magnolia Kate’s first Packer game (she was asleep the last preseason game!).

She recently started wanting to touch the dogs especially their tails…. here she is testing their patience (thankfully they’re SO good with her!!)…

And giggling SO hard when I tell her “No”… before she went back for Destin’s tail.. we may be in trouble! Ha!
She looked so sweet with her Packers onesie!

Our little Packer fan 🙂
If you can remember, Logan finished the basement back in January and hung the tv in February (the one he bought on Black Friday)Â but we FINALLY just decided on and got our couch about a week ago so we’ve been enjoying the area!
She LOVES having a sectional to crawl all over!
Friday was a little bit more laid back with Magnolia’s first lunch date to Olive Garden with Jess!
She is sure her Mama’s girl…. loving on those breadsticks!
Then we met Daddy for a quick margarita before he headed to the golf course!
Saturday was a big day for us – we headed to Chetek, WI for a day on the lake with my family!

Gah she’s just the cutest thing!
We weren’t sure that Magnolia would enjoy the boat or even last an hour so we were a bit worried that the longer drive wouldn’t be worth it but guys…

I’m pretty sure she tried every snack she could while on there! Ha!
she did SO well and loved the boat! The more waves the better for her!

My little niece!
We were missing two of my nieces (Trinity and Sydney) and it makes me so sad when we get together without them! 😦
We all just hung out on the boat and rode around a few hours…
before docking at the sandbar! Surprisingly, Logan was the first to jump in!
And again… we weren’t sure Magnolia would like the water much but she was such a fishy! She loved being in this floaty and would kick her feet with excitement (especially if she went over a wave!).
She kept laying in her head on it too and we all thought she might actually fall asleep!
No such luck… she was also on a no bottle strike as usual….

She loved being able to crawl ALL over the pontoon and get into everyone’s snacks 🙂

Nora was also VERY into trying everyone’s snacks 🙂
She’s the only baby I know that is happiest when she doesn’t eat!?! Ugh, it’ll be nice to be done with those in a few months!

Goodness, my niece is OBSESSED with Grandma but thankfully she was such a good little sharer with Magnolia!
Before we headed out, Logan and my sister did some water skiing on my Uncle’s boat and shockingly enough, both were able to get up after 10+ years!
Magnolia zonked out almost immediately when we got in the car!

Enjoying ALL the strawberries – Ha ha!
Yesterday, we just ran a few errands (Costco, Target) and enjoyed a quick lunch at Dino’s Greek Mediterranean.
Magnolia sure enjoyed the fries and all the seasonings!
Every day is something new with Magnolia and I’m loving all of it! I’m so excited for her to do the fair with us this year – I think she’ll love the people watching and trying some foods!
I’m sharing what our July looked like on Wednesday and then we’ll be all caught up finally!
