It’s Friday, y’all!!!!

I’ll make this one short and sweet because we’re all ready for the weekend 🙂 I just have 8.5 hours between me and relaxing time!  We don’t have much plans for the weekend which is always nice in my book!  It’s especially nice this week because.. I have some reaction thing going on with my lips (and the doctor has no clue what the reaction was to.. so it’s up to me to figure out :() ..

I know that sounds funny and gross probably at the same time BUT I finally went to the Doctor yesterday and they prescribed me some cortisone creams to hopefully help it go back to normal.. I won’t gross you out with the details but I’ll be happy when my lips are back to smooth, not itchy and not dry!

Anyway onto some favorites of the week!

This dress..

I bought it on a whim during the Nordstrom’s half yearly sale (it’s still on sale!)  and I totally fell in love!  I’ve never really owned anything in this color but thought it would be pretty for fall/spring/winter and guess what?! It totally is 🙂 You can see more pictures and me attempting to pose 😉 here!

I also really love this dress and might need to grab it since it’s on sale!

I can’t believe we’re almost to the last full week of January already… I’ve been putting up some Valentine’s Day decorations – mainly because I love pink and red – and doing a lot of DIY’s.

Like this pom-pom wreath I’ll be featuring next week 🙂 Tune in to see what the end result is!

{Four}

I finished Teresa’s book (see, we’re on a first name basis after that :)) and I’m happy to be done with it.  It wasn’t a favorite of mine but I liked how real she was about her experience.  I don’t watch RHONJ (I was a fan of OC housewives though!) so it was interesting to hear more about her life and how she started with the show.  I had no idea how it even came about!

And not that I wasn’t sure already but after reading her book, I NEVER want to go to prison.  If you’re looking for an interesting read, I’d definitely scoop it up!

{Five}

The weather this week has been amazing – I’m talking 30s-40s which is insane for January!  It was literally -30 last week so funny to get it up so high BUT it’s definitely a favorite of mine!  I bought some tulips on Tuesday and am seriously obsessed with looking at them 🙂 They just brighten up my table and remind me that Spring is coming!

What are your favorite things for the week!? I’m debating between starting The Matchmaker or Emily Maynard’s book next… I just love that I’ve finally gotten back into reading more 🙂
