And we’re back to reality with only 2 day weekends and it’s already Monday 😦 I tell you.. the person who created 5 day work weeks and only 2 days of rest really had it all wrong!

How I feel now that the weekend is over and it’s back to work today…

One more day please?! 

For now I guess two days will have to do!  This weekend was another one for the books.  While we didn’t do a whole lot – it was one of my favorite weekends! Loved just being able to relax with my family and spend some quality time together!

Friday, we headed out to my Mama’s house to celebrate our last Christmas with my family.  My sister, brother and I pulled into town within 3 minutes of each other and after unloading the cars, we started catching up a bit – while my brother let us know how hungry he was 🙂  We headed to Azul Tequila for dinner, per his suggestion and also because what’s a weekend without Mexican food?!

We kept the margaritas flowing 🙂

After dinner, we headed back to my Mama’s and played a few rounds of 5 Second Rule and watched some TV!  We played this game at my in-laws over Christmas and it was really fun so we were glad to play it again!

Saturday morning is when we celebrated more Christmas!

I look like I’m fake smiling but seriously… I’ve had some crazy dry lips lately (ugh, thanks Winter!) so it was a little hard to smile without chap stick! I know you all really care about that… ha! Moving on…

After presents, we headed to my Grandma’s to hang out for the day!

We played a few more games, caught up, ate Rocky Rococo’s and relaxed!

And remembered to take a ton few pictures!

Oh yeah – there’s that brother of ours! 🙂

 We headed back to my Mama’s to watch the first half of the Lion/Seahawk game before we headed back home.

And took more pictures because #bloggerlife 🙂

So my brother looks totally goofy in this… he was holding his big pup Hutson who was back at my Grandma’s house and apparently the dogs were interested!

And of course, obligatory individual family pictures! 🙂

Sunday was a day of meal planning (one of my goals!) and watching a big Packer win!

And a few flashbacks… to the 2013 first Packer playoff game we were at…

And headed to the game in 2014…

Can’t wait to see them in Dallas next week!  Go Pack Go!
